Market Speculator Part-Time | Swing Trade Report

The focus list remains the same today with a focus on sector and index ETFs and post earnings plays. Yesterday I entered two positions, gap down reversal AAOI and trend pullback NFLX. AAOI reports earnings on November 7th (see video for stategy). Biotech continues to show strength but is stalling at the key moving average resistance level. Focus list stocks with earnings coming up include FB, BABA, RACE and YELP.The strategy behind the AAOI trade is to play for a push into the earning announcement. It is showing momentum post gap down, and is low float with some decent short interest. If I have a "cushion" going into the announcement, I can take half off and take a speculative shot that skews risk in my favor going into earnings.Focus list: GOOGL, AMZN, NFLX, BWLD, TEAM, CAI, SKX, DST, EXPE, CMG, BIDU, AAOI, SOXL, UWT, ERX, FAS, JNUGCurrent Positions: Entered AAOI and NFLX.
