Market Speculator Part-Time | Swing Trade Report

Video: https://youtu.be/5g1dC0V_hDwFireworks yesterday with some wide ranges in both directions. At the end of the day the market was only down slightly coming off lows. QQQ was hit the hardest and we have some rather ugly candles in big tech stocks. We continue to watch earnings breakouts and breakdowns for potential trades. HOG is setup as a gap down reversal and we are still waiting on GOOGL and now AMZN since it is reacting poorly to earnings. These have generally been entry opportunities (once the signal is in) although this market's character is a bit different. Energy and Financials held up well and are at the top of our list. QQQ is setting up as a "failed breakout if it closes below the hold high. This could be a short opportunity. I took a small profit in LABU as it hit my trailing stop, and was stopped out TSLA. I also entered NFLX as a "value" pullback entry post earnings.As usual we do not enter positions when a stocks earning's date is 2 weeks away or less. Thus, a lot of good looking stocks are out of the picture right now.
