The market is gapping down this morning inside of the old high on rising fears related to politics and the presidency. At this point we do not know if this is a momentary blip followed by quick reversal or the start of a deeper pullback. The best strategy is to sit back and see how things shake out. Gold and VIX are popping this morning, oil is up a bit, and the market indexes are down .5-1.25%.
Manage current positions at discussed stop levels. If the market reverses intraday, we can look to take a focus list long at the end of the day. Otherwise I will likely not take any shorts unless it's a SMALL position in an extended stock like NVDA or a gold/UVXY trade.
Oil inventories are an hour after the open. That should set the trend for oil.
