Video: https://youtu.be/7LJeCN_cGAYLast week SPY thwarted a potential breakdown by remounting the 50 day moving average and spending the rest of the week above the 9ema. Both IWM and QQQ also acted well. While it's not time to bet the farm to the long size, it is a good time to take quality long setups. If SPY breaks above the breakdown level at $137.50 I will get more aggressive. That breakdown level is also key for biotech trading and the financial sector. On the focus list this week is FANG and other big tech, some beaten down stocks waking up, energy, homebuilders and semis. I am also watching commodities like steel and ag if they can break resistance, although none are on the focus list to start the week.Today's list: FB, AMZN, GOOGL, NFLX, TSLA, AAPL, ETSY, FIT, UA, ACIA, SNAP, OAS, SM, EMES, LABU, TOL, DHI, AAOI, AMD, WYNN, PNRACurrent Positions: Still holding TTD, UET, NVDA, TZA, and UVXY. While we have a few stocks setting up, I will not likely take on any positions until the fed is in the rearview mirror. I continue to watch biotech for potential entry and possible rubber band bounce plays in oil and gold miners.Stay patient until Wednesday.I will likely not add positions going into the meeting. If looking to trade, I've added some low float "junk" that's not as impacted by market news events to the focus list.Focus List: LJPC, CALA, DHI, LEN, TOL, SNAP, GOOGL, FB, X, BABA, GWPH, JNUG, ETSY, CYBR, LABU, YELP, PANWPotential shorts: SPXU (inverse), TZA (inverse), FAZ (inverse), UVXY (to go long VIX), BA, X, AKS, MT, NVDA, LABA/LABD, AMD, POT, MOS, AAOI, COHR, AAPL, CNCECurrent Positions: Short NVDA, long FAZ.
