Common wisdom says if Hillary wins we get a pop and then it's back to trading as usual, while if Trump wins we could be in for a volatile ride that should give us some big moves in either direction, though initially down.The market is flat premarket after a huge move yesterday the got us back inside that ugly 1.5 month range. I may put on a couple of low risk positions today and possibly a VIX hedge which acts as a short just in case Trump wins.We remain cautious and will not chase. Keep in mind if you miss the first move, which is usually a gamble or a guess, there is always another move to trade. I still may take a small position or two before the election.Relative strength still the way to play the market.
