The Fed announcement is 2pm eastern time tomorrow. The expectation is that rates will hold, with 90% of 41 "experts" in a CNBC poll saying the fed will not raise rates. That does not mean much for what actually will happen, but it does set the expectation. A surprise rate hike likely starts a hard pullback. However, dovish comments could setup another run, or since doing nothing is already expected, it could be met with a collective market shrug. We will monitor the action closely over the next 3-5 days for a directional signal. It often takes a few days for actual direction to play out. Thus there will not likely be any aggressive position building. Rather, if I do decide to take positions, I'll slowly add one here, one there.I may decide to pair vxx against spxl going into the announcement to play volatility, quickly taking off whichever position does not go in the direction of the market while holding the other. My focus is key ETFs and the relative strength list in the coming days.Focus List: LABU, SOXL, XVV, SPXL, ERX, FAS, UCO, EWZ, NFLX, X, AKS, PYPL, AAPL, FB, AMZN, FIT, WYNN, AIRGNo video today.
