While this tight range didn't provide much volatility, specific sectors are starting to show some mojo. Retail, oil, energy and finance all show relative strength, as do a number of post earnings breakouts.Heading into the week I am looking to add 1 or 2 longs from these areas and potentially take a short in an extended stock (see video--already taken 2 shorts in more aggressive accounts).UCO is nearing partial profit targets. Indexes/Sectors: SPY, SPXL, SPXU, URE, IBB, GLD, USO, XLE, XIV, VXX, BRZU, YINN, XLF, FAS, JNUG, NUGT, LABU, UGLD, EDCNote: The parabolic short and regular short list is full of explosive stocks. These stocks are extended and potential shorts, but they are not setup yet. Enter only on strong reversal signal. The setup is countertrend and many of these stocks could become long setups again. Countertrend trades are risky.
