Breadth is strong with T2018 and equal weighted ETFs showing RS to the indices. Tech and growth patterns are starting to improve with many broken stocks starting to indicate classic bottom formations. Most sectors are strong with very few not participating. Earings season is off to a decent start. Big tech stock's TSLA and MSFT are constructive, with TSLA gapping up big and MSFT completely reversing it's initial gap down (that was the basis for today's entry- see video). TSLA is a good example of our low expectations thesis. The headline for TSLA is "not as bad as feared". Even a bit of good news will get stocks to pop, and as we saw with MSFT, even concerns with guidance can reverse quickly.
