These are the growth leaders that we want to track. In this bear market, look for setups that offer outsized risk reward. These are the big opportunities that protect us if there is a drawdown since hitting just a few of these cover any potential stop outs. Some of the stocks that offer outsized RR are game planned. Big banks GS and MS reported earnings today with the latter gapping up and the former gapping down. Of the 5 big banks, 4 had strong earnings reactions. This is a positive sign to start earnings season and backs our thesis that FAS is a strong setup.The indexes followed the banks lead and are all up on the day and clearing key resistance levels. SPY is testing the 200ma. If it clears the moving average and the recent high, it technically breaks the year long down trend.
