As we mentioned when the banks were tanking pre-market, the earnings numbers were not bad. They beat expectations. However, all three in a seemingly coordinated effort warned of mild "recession". This initially spooked the market before seeing big reversals. JPM went from down 4% premarket to currently up 3%. WFC and BAC followed suit. These types of reversals are often strong signals. Thus, financials are front and center and I will look to enter FAS (see video for game planning financials). We also go over a few other favorite stocks, including ERX, SHOP, OKTA, NVDA, ETSY, CELH. The indexes followed the banks lead and are all up on the day and clearing key resistance levels. SPY is testing the 200ma. If it clears the moving average and the recent high, it technically breaks the year long down trend.
