Most industries are bouncing today, although overall technical patterns split into three camps: classic continuation patterns facing little resistance (tech and retail), bottoms (beaten down IPO and a few other industries) and rubber band bounces facing resistance (re-open idustries like airlines). The most caution is needed in the latter category. It is helpful that UAL had a good earnings reaction. The first earnings of the FAANG stocks, NFLX, had a poor earnings reaction (see vid). Yesterday's new entry is ROKU, which is bouncing today.
