Market Speculator Part – Time | Swing Trade Report

Quick Summary:

SPY hold breakout levels. Continued slight bullish bias. New entries today X, NUGT and FEYE (short), while still holding AU and TWTR. Look for focus list entries on weakness. UCO/LUV pair trade.

Indexes and Game Plan

SPY closed at break even today and still looks healthy as breadth indicators still remain positive. Our bias is still slightly bullish as long as three key levels hold, the old high, pivot high and the 50 day moving average.

The game plan is to continue to looks for strong setups in commodities, earnings breakouts and focus list stocks. With 5 positions I am tightening the focus list and will look for pullback entry in oil and energy related stocks.

We are in the midst of earnings season and will start to build an earnings breakout watch list, as we did last season.

Trades

I entered NUGT, X and FEYE (short) today. I am still holding AU and TWTR.

NUGT entry t the close was based on the bullish engulfing pattern that could create a pivot low at this pullback level.

X on pullback to 50 dma after remount.

FEYE short setup on bearish candle pattern as discussed last night.

Small position sizes on all of these positions.
