After a very strong close on Friday that created a big hammer candle at extended levels, the market is set to gap down close to 5% on Virus related news that has the market spooked, including the big Fed rate cut and stimulus package and closures in schools, bar, restaurants and gyms. We entered GS and SPXL Friday end of day and will use stop gap down strategy this morning to see if the lows hold.
The market is at historic oversold levels. Caution must be used.
Airlines and commodities were popping big at the open, but have given back gains. We continue to watch the same stocks and ETFs for potential longs and shorts.
