Not only that, but the bounce could be powerful. However, I will not take any bounce shots unless there is a strong signal, and once in the trade I will be quick to take profits. There are not trend longs unless market breadth improves.As we watch for a bounce, I will also eye a potential consolidation or bounce followed by continuation of downtrend. This is the ideal spot to establish shorts, just as we have been doing during this bear market. During these markets never short when extended to the downside.Patience is key right now. I am content to be in cash unless we get strong signals.Trading vehicles include ETFs and big tech stocks.India and Brazil are still showing relative strength. Financials and oil are very oversold.We are sitting on a 33% gain in 2018 which is obviously crushing the market's -6% loss, giving us an alpha of 39%.
