The bias is to the downside, however it is not a good time to initiate shorts. Early morning strength is to be viewed with caution, as evidenced by this morning's fade from green to red. This is common in bear markets. As of now I am content to stay cautious and in cash protecting 2018 gains unless there is a show of strength that indicates a potential oversold bounce attempt. If I take a bounce play it will likely be with index ETFs like SPXL or TNA.India and Brazil are still showing relative strength. We are sitting on a 33% gain in 2018 which is obviously crushing the market's -6% loss, giving us an alpha of 39%. We will go over the results in next week's group mentorship webinar and key takeaways from the trading year.Trade small, don't get too aggressive and stay in protection mode.Potential bounce plays: SPXL, TNA, TQQQ, SOXL, ULTA, NVDA, XRelative Strength stocks: WK, TSLA, COUP, WWE, UAL, TEAM, LULU, MDB, ISRG, ORLYPotential bearish plays: SQQQ, TZA, SPXS, SOXS, FAZ, NVDA, FBCurrent Positions: Took profits in NVDA short. No current positions.Today's video:
