It has been a profitable run the downside, but now the question is "what do we do from here" heading into the end of the year. While we have a bearish market, we also have bullish seasonality in play with year end mark ups and the "santa claus" rally. As we have throughout this run, we will patiently wait for signals, not over-trade, and pounce when the signal presents itself. My focus right now is index plays. If SPY breaks below February lows, I'll look to enter SPXS (leveraged inverse ETF). If we get bounce signals, then SPXL. For IWM it's TNA and TZA and for QQQ it's TQQQ and SQQQ.Notice that tech is showing relative strength. India and Brazil are also strong..Trade small, don't get too aggressive and stay in protection mode.Potential longs: USLV, BRZU, BHP, TSLA, FB, NFLXRelative Strength stocks: ILMN, WK, CYBR, ORLY, CHEF, TSLA, PAYC, TWLO, CROX, SBUX, DECK, TWTR, NFLX, IRBT, WYNN, UA, UALPotential bearish plays: SQQQ, TZA, SPXS, SOXS, FAZ, NVDA, FBCurrent Positions: Short NVDA. NVDA stop is at $153.20 entry level.Today's video:
