That being said, the market is set to open "less red" than I thought it would and off after hours lows. Today I will watch how the market closes. A close on stregnth could get me to add a long position from a strong list of focus list stocks. A weak close could lead me to add an index short like SQQQ, SOXS or SPXS.I added LABU yesterday. Biotech is offering a low risk, high reward setup on average probability (see video).Stocks I like today include TSLA, ETSY, WYNN, NVDA, TWTR, BABA, UA, FEYE, WK, AYX, TEAM, NFLX.Overall earnings season has been bad, although it did show improvement last week. That is a potential driver of the current market. I continue to mentor earnings reactions. Also, now that all FAANG stocks have reported with poor reactions, I am watching for signs that they reverse.Remember strong bounces are common in corrective markets. They only signal a potential shift in trend if they take out key resistance levels coupled with strong market breadth signals.Trade small, don't get too aggressive and stay in protection mode.
