So we start July (the first trading day of July tends to be a strong day) still in "no man's land" and lacking a direction signal. Our plan remains the same. A break of resistance gets us back on trend. A break below support and we consider shorting. Until then we take it easy, only occasionally taking trades that are in very strong sectors or are somewhat market independent with their own catalysts. While I am not actively looking for shorts, I am starting a shorts watchlist. Although retail has been a strong sector, half the list is made up of retail stocks as the sector broke key levels after being extended on Friday. A common theme among many focus list stocks right now is that they can go either direction, so we watch for upside breaks or downside continuations.I entered PANW on Friday based off a trend pullback setup. It's in a strong sector (cybersecurity).Focus List: FB, NFLX, ROKU, WTW, HABT, CYBR, AAOI, FCX, LOXO, WYNN, SYNA, IQ, HUYA, UWT, LABU, SOXLIPO LIST: ROKU, HUYA, SPOT, IQ, SHOP, DBX, APRN, BILI, NTNX, BRUB, AAXN, OKTA, SNAPPotential Shorts: UWT/DWT, KSS, SHAK, FB, UA, BKE, RH, NVDA, TWTR, SOXL/SOXSCurrent Positions: Entered PANW. Still holding SRPT.
