The market has somewhat received heading into the open but is still down 1-1.5%. Again we'll watch intraday to see if there's a reversal or continuation. If the close is weak I will likely add an index short to balance the longs. Oil is popping this morning which helps the new UWT position, and Brazil is also set to open green. I chose these two because they can move independent of the US market. Both BRZU and UWTare low risk, high reward spots that focus less on high probability. The idea here is there is a higher than normal chance of failure, but risk reward is so strong that the trades are attractive. They also are two very different setups, in that oil has shown relative weakness to the market and is extremely beaten down, while Brazil is a relative strength area that has lead the market hover the past two months.Key leveraged ETFs include TNA/TZA, TQQQ/SQQQ, LABU/LABD, UWT, BRZU and INDL, LABU and RETL.Patience is key right now. I am content to be in cash unless we get strong signals.Trading vehicles include ETFs and big tech stocks.India and Brazil are still showing relative strength. Financials and oil are very oversold. We are sitting on a 33% gain in 2018 which is obviously crushing the market's -6% loss, giving us an alpha of 39%. We will go over the results in next week's group mentorship webinar and key takeaways from the trading year.Trade small, don't get too aggressive and stay in protection mode.Potential bounce plays: SPXL, TNA, TQQQ, SOXL, LABU, UWT, ERX, FAS, RETL, TEAM, AYX, MDB, TSLA, CYBR, NFLX, CLF, FCX, WYNNPotential short plays: SPXU, TZA, SQQQ, LABD, FAZ, NVDA, FBCurrent Positions: Added UWT (oversold bounce) and BRZU (bottom formation continuation). Holding SPXL off rubber band continuation setup. Stop around $30 and target $34+.Today's video:
