Today’s daily trading watchlist is about respecting a gappy, fade-prone tape. Momentum darlings bled, gaps got sold, and some large caps couldn’t catch a bid. The structure on many names hasn’t “broken,” but the behavior has—so we run a mixed book: a few tactical longs, a few clean shorts, and let price tell the story.
Index read (fast):
- If QQQ breaks today’s low, I’m eyeing the next demand zone and staying tactical.
- If it stabilizes, I’ll lean long—but only on tight, confirmable setups (R2G, VWAP remounts, inside-day breaks).
- This phase is choppy; no open chases unless it’s A+ and confirms.
Longs I like (with triggers)
- FSLY – Big earnings stick. If it gives a weak open → R2G through ORH/VWAP, I’ll press for a trend scalp; trim on pushes.
- DDOG – Liquid with range. Dips that hold 9/20 and remount VWAP are my entries; keep it mechanical.
- RIVN – Earnings surge then inside day; break of the inside-day high is the clean trigger, stop under inside-day low.
- U (Unity) – Similar inside-day logic: trigger = inside-high, stop = inside-low; partials into prior day high.
- XPEV / BIDU / BABA – China basket turning up; they gap a lot, so I’ll buy VWAP remounts or prior-day high breaks—small size, scale as it proves.
- SEDG – Tight day after a strong candle; take the day-high break with a stop under the day’s low.
- EOSE – Trendline watch near mid-teens. No anticipation—confirmed break + hold or pass.
Shorts / Downside ideas (with levels)
- UPST – Clean drift down; I’ll hit pops into resistance with a stop a hair above the lower-high shelf.
- OKLO – Bear flag developing; sub-100 can trigger a fast move toward deeper support.
- RGTI – Break of price shelf + 50-SMA = momentum short; first cover at prior swing low.
- QBTS – If the 52 zone fails on volume, follow through lower—no front-running.
Execution rules (non-negotiable)
- Congeal first: let it tighten; don’t be the first-slice pizza guy.
- Location > prediction: R2G/F2R, VWAP remounts, and inside-day breaks.
- Scale outs: pay on pushes; leave a runner only if trend structure holds.
- Hard stops: mental stops are how accounts evaporate.
- Theme rotation: if two names in a theme misfire, rotate—don’t force it.
